The paintings conception was born from asking myself whether we are at a crossroads to our current 400 to 500-year period of enlightenment coming to an end.
This blue is my go-to colour for peace, clarity of thought, mindfulness.
Black the darkness in thought and society. This is textured from center outward and just encroaching on the outer blue.
Inner blue shape is our previous enlightenment and complacency will leave current period down that path.
